Shimura Restaurant @ Fountain Valley
Hong suggested that we should go eat & execerise after work... Since I got Restaurant.com coupon we dropped by Shimura @ Fountain Valley. This is my second time coming here... Last time wasn't bad~~~ They got tasty California Hand Roll. The food this time wasn't good~ Everything tasted very fishy to us. I don't think we wanna go back there anymore... food isn't good and service was SLOW~
This is like a old mom & pop restaurant... Old people come here for dinner~

Also... we both of us are wearing our GYM cloth!!!
We ordered: Uni (lower right), Oyster (lower left), Spanish Macrkel (top)
Rainbow Roll & My favorite California Hand Roll
I think this is Spanish Macrkel Cut Roll... We didn't know what to order so just pick something that's not Eglish...

Zipangu Japanese Food
YELP.COM hype about Zipangu so I gotta go check it out myself today~
Not working today so able to hang out with my friends.
ZIPANGU, located @ THE LAB. We were there early so had no problem with parking but by the time we are leaving parking is an big issue! This place is pretty cool. It's tiny but they managed to squeeze in two bars; an alcohol bar and sushi bar. The staffs are super friendly.
Exterior looks really cool!!!
The interior of this rest. is cool too!!! Black and Red all over.
That's the sushi bar... I noticed that hardly anyone would sit at the sushi bar.

Tables... the ropes are decoration, don't thin on the bad side now!
Seafood Salad $12... Sashimi is really big!!!!
Fried Tofu $3... horrible!!! Don't even have sauce .
Salmon skin hand roll.... taste so so (Ayame have better ones!) $3.5 each
Yellowtail Cheeks... this one is pretty good! $9
Yellowtail cut roll $6... Mom likes this one a lot!!!
Overall I think this place is so so... People just hype about it too much~~~ I think all the foods are over priced too!

Best Ice Cream!!! Mikawaya
I got to admit, I LOVE ICE CREAM!!!
Rite Aid has good Pineapple & Coconut ice cream!!!
But MIKAWAYA has the BEST Plum Wine Ice Cream~
I love going to Little Tokyo, cuz I get to eat my favorite ice cream~ But you gotta be lucky cuz they run out of Plum Wine Ice Cream very often. Sadly today they run out of my favorite ice cream. But the owner was so sweet and nice she offered me another flavor to try. I never seen this flavor before thos... The old sweet lady was telling me that the company delivered the wrong flavor by accident. The new flavor is call 3 colors...Green Tea, Vanilla, and Red Bean. Man, I love it too!!!! Happy Angel after eating Ice Cream~
This place has very nice Japanese sweets. My mom love to buy sweets from here.

Which product is better for wood???
I saw my follow co-workers testing out which product is good for wood...
hahahaha This is what they do with TAX PAYER'S $$$.
I am not involved with this now!!! I just saw them testing it on my lunch room. YES, my own lunch room. ^_^~~~ I don't have a personal office yet but I do have my own lunch room.
Anyways, they tested out Orange Glo, Pledge, Old English and Murphy...
Which one you think it the BEST?
I put my bet on PLEDGE!!! (I only know this brand cuz commercials~~~)
By this you can also tell that I don't clean my house... (I live with my mom so.... wahahaha)

Nha Hang $1.99
Hong took me here today... amazing cheap and tasty~ I forgot my camera so went to YELP.COM to grab the photos. Taking into consideration how little it'll cost you. There are a few more expensive items, which includes the restaraunts speciality, the 1/2 cornish hen with rice for $3.25.
The interesting part about this restaurant is that if you ask for water they will give you a bottle water for $1.00. If you ask for To-Go box that's .75 cents extra. If you ask for extra sauce that's .25 cents extra.... hahaha but what do you expect they are only charging you $1.99 for the food! Service is very interesting too, they only speak Vietnamese...
The menu is simple and good. Everything is less than $3.25!
I order this... it's #1 item on the menu... $3.25... very very good!

Newport Coast Canyon Watch~
I been living in Newport Coast for over 8 yrs... always thought about going to the Canyon Watch but never did have the time. But today seems a good day to take Lucky for a walk! Errr bad idea, today is a super hot day~~~ Before I left my house I did bring H2O for Lucky but poor me I didn't bring any for myself~ From now on I will remember to bring H2O for myself too...

Lucky's Play Date
Nothing to do today so went to Julie's house..
I took Lucky along hoping he will play with Dumpling... errr This is what he did at Julie's house:
Lucky went into the house searching for food... He ate all the food & water from Dumpling's bowl. He also ate Dumpling's treat. >,<
Dumpling would stand at a stand away from Lucky and look at him~
Dumpling is looking at Lucky again~
Even when they are sleeping, they are a little distance away from each other

Dickey's BBQ Pit
I heard about this place from someone... Since it's BBQ I gotta come and try it.
The food here is decent. Its not the best BBQ, but definitely not the bad.
I heard people saying that Dickey's @ Huntington Beach taste better, maybe I shall try there next time. The food you oder is very little.. I order two items but I think it's barely enough for Lucky and me...
